Up at 7:30, and did stair stepping, resistance bands, and weights exercises after breakfast. Hubbie accompanied Mother to our house around 9:30, and then he went out into the yard, where he worked most of the day.
Before I got ready for the day, Mother and I watched last night's elimination episode of "Dancing With the Stars." Then she went to her jigsaw puzzle, and I headed upstairs.
It was close to noon by the time I got back downstairs, so I prepared lunch...Ramen Noodle soup for Mother, and sandwiches for Hubbie and me.
Afterward, Hubbie and I drove down the road to a neighbor's yard, where a flock of turkey vultures were feasting on road kill. I used my long lens to see what the animal was, and saw that it was an armadillo.
We went in the other direction, then, to where cattle were grazing in a pasture of buttercup wildflowers. There, I got shots of appealing calves...a speckled one was resting among the flowers, and a brown one was grazing close by, surrounded by the buttercups and a few yellow irises.
Back home, Hubbie returned to the yard, and I went to the library to return movie DVDs and borrow some more. I was aggravated when I got there and realized I had failed to remove one of the DVDs from the player. The librarian was very understanding and simply let me check the DVD out for two more weeks, to avoid and overdue fine.
Mother spent the afternoon with her puzzle, and when I got back, I spent mine frustrating myself on my laptop, as I burned photos to a CD, and uploaded them to an online photo storage site.
Later, for supper, I heated leftovers from last night's meal. Hubbie accompanied Mother to her house afterward, and then he and I watched TV.
