Up around 7:30 on this chilly morning, and did a treadmill session and weights exercises after breakfast. Mother came over while I was getting ready for the day and put chicken in the slow cooker, and potatoes and yellow and zucchini squash with onions in the steamer.
After that, we wasted the morning watching a 2009 Lifetime Movie Network feature that we started yesterday. It was called, "Web of Lies," about a woman who works as an Internet security designer for a large corporation. Somehow the security is breached, and someone siphons money to an offshore bank. Added to that, the woman's boyfriend is murdered.
Lunch was delicious, served with the remainder of the loaf of yeast bread I bought yesterday. Mother went home afterward, and Hubbie and I wasted more time reading the Sunday Newspaper and watching another Lifetime Movie Network feature. This 2004 movie was called "Deadly Encounter," about a divorced woman with a young son, who runs a driver off the road as she is rushing to her job. She and her family are then stalked and threatened. She knows the stalker is the angry driver, though she doesn't know who he is, and of course she doesn't have enough information for the police to pursue him.
To continue our movie marathon, we then watched the 2009 Lifetime Movie Network feature, "Encounter with Danger." A man goes on a business trip and invites his girlfriend in hopes of rekindling their romance. But then he disappears, and she uncovers information that he was going to blow the whistle about corruption in his company.
After a cereal and toast supper, we watched a fourth LMN movie (2001), "Living in Fear." A woman accompanies her husband to his hometown, which he hasn't visited in 20 years, to attend his father's funeral. He left his hometown because of suspicion over his first wife's death. The wife learns that money entrusted to her husband's father has mysteriously disappeared, along with the husband's first high school girlfriend.
